Casino Control Commission nominee approved

TRENTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee, after a recess, unanimously released the nomination of a Casino Control Commission appointee after reviewing documents related to tax payments and meeting attendance.

After a brief break, the committee released the nomination of Alisa Cooper, with committee Chairman Nick Scutari, (D-22), Linden, calling the information in the documents provided to him “unsubstantiated allegations.”

The committee took a break after Sen. Gerald Cardinale, (R-39), Demarest, began questioning Cooper about documents he had but which other committee member did not have.
