Christie vetoes e-court bill

Gov. Chris Christie issued an absolute veto of a bill that would have helped set up an e-court information system and provide money to fund legal services to the poor.

The bill, A763, would have provided $17 million to further the goal of an electronic court information system, and $10.1 million to the Treasury to distribute to approximately 13 legal services such as Court Appointed Special Advocates and Family Crisis Intervention.
