Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal is to indulge his theatrical side with a role in the new play If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet, by Nick Payne. The production, under the auspices of Roundabout Theatre Company, is to costar Brian F. O'Byrne and is to coincide with the release of Mr. Gyllenhaal's next movie on September 28; the limited-run production is to open September 20. No worries that Mr. Gyllenhaal is among the Hollywood actors seeking to snatch a Tony, though--the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre is off-Broadway.
