In a new ad we first noticed during last night's MTV Movie Awards, she's rapturous over "the guy who ended the war in Iraq, the guy who says you should be able to marry anyone you want, and the guy who created 4 million jobs," and solicits applicants for a contest to have dinner with Barack and Michelle Obama at Ms. Parker's own townhouse. (Will Matthew Broderick be there?) Mr. Obama intones at the end that he approves Ms. Parker's message, though we're not sure he's into letting people marryanyonethey want, rather than just any consenting adult. (We always thought Carrie was more careful with words!)
