The Bennington Museum in Bennington, Vt., has a new executive director, the Bennington Banner reports. The lucky man taking the helm is Robert Wolterstorff, who’s currently a Maine–based independent curator and scholar. He’s served as director of the Victoria Mansion in Portland, Maine, and the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion in Philadelphia, according to the Banner.

The Bennington Museum was established in 1852 as the Bennington Historical Society to commemorate the Revolutionary War Battle of Bennington, which took place in 1777. It has the largest collection of paintings by Grandma Moses of any public museum in the world.

Congratulations, Mr. Wolterstorff.
