These posters were found around the Bedford L-stop recently, clearly lampooning the violence that has overtaken the bucolic neighborhood all because of a $50 million pool.
According to the Daily News, the MTA started pulling the posters down, fearing real violence. That is, more real violence.
Just the other day, Christine Quinn stopped by to try and put a stop to it all. Now that this has officially reached real-life-meme proportions, maybe the pool won’t be cool anymore and the madness will stop. Wouldn’t that be some North Brooklyn post-irony for you?
