ASBURY PARK – Gov. Chris Christie says he’s excited to give the keynote address at the Republican National Convention next week.
The governor declined to give reporters on the Asbury Park boardwalk any insights into his big speech next Tuesday, but said he’s excited to get down to Florida.
“I’m excited,” Christie said. “It’s a great opportunity for me personally and it’s a great opportunity for the state.”
Christie said the hardest part will be waiting all day Tuesday before giving his speech later during the evening.
“I think the hardest thing will just be waiting until 10:30 Tuesday night,” he said.
