Sarah Jessica Parker the Latest Celebrity to Weigh In on Girls

The actress who portrayed Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City would like to disavow responsibility for the latest four-ladies-talkin’-in-a-ribald-manner HBO comedy. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Jessica Parker said “It’s a very different show.”

Uh-oh! But no beef here, Hollywood feud-watchers. Ms. Parker continued, “the similarity is in the intimacy of the conversations among women.” In her cover-story interview, the actress, soon to be seen on Glee, broke her silence on winning an Emmy, declaring the 2004 triumph to be “the perfect punctuation point for what was an extraordinary experience.”
