SNL Alumna Jenny Slate To Write For Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck

After an absence from movie screens since the 2003 flop Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Bugs and company are headed back to cinemas in a movie to be written by Jenny Slate, briefly of Saturday Night Live and possibly better known for her "Marcel the Shell" videos.

Perhaps Marcel's childlike spirit will inflect the Looney Tunes revamp? We can only hope. Otherwise, we hope Ms. Slate knows how to write for NBA stars!
