Last week, we took a trip up to 4 World Trade Center. Not only did we get to check out the nifty new bathrooms and the Budha on Russell Simmons’ penthouse roof but also the new atrium at the World Financial Center taking shape. Brookfield sent over some photos, as well, showing the new space taking shape, set to open next year.

The spiffed up retail inside is meant to appeal to all the crowds cramming the areas—hello World Trade Center tourists, welcome Goldman Sachs MDs. It might also help fill some of the office space above, which has been abandoned by firms like Nomura and Dow Jones in recent years.
