We’re despondent over the end of the U.S. Open; even now, years past his heyday, a tournament not won by Roger Federer doesn’t seem like a tennis tournament at all! We’ll be looking for a sense of closure at today’s Wall Street Tennis Challenge, an evening of doubles tennis and cocktails to benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Program at Mount Sinai. Be sure not to give the driver the day off; the whole thing goes down far from Wall Street, at the Greenwich Country Club.
Greenwich Country Club, 19 Doubling Road (Greenwich, Conn.), exhibition match and doubles final at 5:30pm, dinner and live auction at 7pm, tickets and information can be found at wallstreettennischallenge.org.
