 Brooklyn Heights Equinox is Open (For Free)Looking to burn off some of that Hurricane party food? Don’t worry–the Brooklyn Heights Equinox is not letting a small thing like a Hurricane and storm serge stand in the way good health and exercise.

Among the many emails in our inbox canceling yoga classes, book readings, art openings and Halloween was an email letting us know that the gym is open. Even non-members can leave their houses and go get out some of that energy before cabin fever sets in.

Last August, Hurricane Irene didn’t stop us from delivering an unparalleled experience; Hurricane Sandy won’t either. We are open regular hours today and tomorrow and invite you to come in for a complimentary workout.

Of course, we take safety seriously, and as such, we are operating with leaner staff. Please use your judgment while traveling.

We hope to see you in the club!

Exercising during a hurricane? Now that’s dedication. Speaking of which, we wonder if the juice bar is open, too….
