As has been well-catalogued, the left-leaning MSNBC network reacted to President Barack Obama’s widely-panned debate performance with a sense of anger and disbelief on Wednesday. But conservative commentator Bill O’Reilly upped the rhetorical ante slightly last night.

“The Governor did win,” Mr. O’Reilly said, praising Mitt Romney’s debating skills. “How do I know? Because I turned to MSNBC. The commentators there looked like Parisians watching the Germans march into Paris in 1940. There was genuine heartbreak on that cable network.”

However, Mr. O’Reilly also ended up seeing shots taken at his own network yesterday too. As a guest on The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart asked him, “So, it must have been nice times at the Fox News studios last night. Do you think there will be a Fox News Obama debate baby boom?”
