Naples Museum of Art Gets a New Director


Frank Verpoorten has been named director of the Naples Museum of Art, replacing Michael Culver,who resigned his post all the way back in August 2010.

Mr. Verpoorten is currently the cultural attache representing Flanders, Belgium in the United States, according to the News-Press in Florida. He has had curatorial roles at the Museum of Modern Art, Snug Harbor Cultural Center and the Dahesh Museum of Art.
