RxArt, a foundation that provides original art for hospital rooms to break up all that sterility, celebrates one of its finest artists, Dan Colen (catch his work at Gagosian, or his new installation at Kings County Hospital), with a celebration at Milk Studios. There’s an auction of all manner of artists’ work, as well as a guest list that’s a work of art in and of itself, including those dashing and ever-present Proenza boys, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough; perpetually made-up brand consultant Michelle Harper; rock scionesses Alexandra Richards and Charlotte Ronson; and thrillingly named Vogue columnist Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis.
