Pier Antiques Show

It’s time for us to pick up a few Christmas gifts for family and friends, but why brave the Astor Place Target on Black Friday—or, worse, Fifth Avenue a few days before Christmas? Especially when the Pier Antiques Show is open, so we can go and pick out items that seem a bit more special, if less pricey, than that same Balenciaga coat everyone will be wearing after they open their presents. Gifts on offer include all manner of home furnishings—we’d been looking for that Arts and Crafts-style chair!—and art, as well as items a bit easier to wrap, including books and prints.
