<p>A day after <a href="http://observer.com/2012/12/trans-spired-1-wtc-spire-floats-from-jersey-to-manhattan-today/">arriving in Manhattan from across the harbor</a>, the first piece of <a href="http://observer.com/2012/05/wtc/">the 1 World Trade Center spire</a> has begun the trip to its final resting place atop the city's tallest tower.
