At Rookie, Tavi Gevinson's website for teenage girls that has a cult-like following, Ms. Spiegel wrote about music, sex, drugs and body acceptance. She also hosted a makeup video tutorial and was a fixture at the magazine's New York events. Ms. Spiegel also wrote one of the first posts on Rookie when it launched--a long-form piece about her love for The Smiths. She has written for BuzzFeed in the past.
