We thought ladies’ lunches were the province of the warmer months—when you just can’t wait to sneak away from the office (or the manse) for a cool glass of white wine and some cursory salmon destined to be left uneaten—but the Muse Awards are proving us wrong. This ceremony honoring women in the entertainment industry pays tribute to, among others, Mariska Hargitay (Jayne Mansfield’s daughter who’s now more famous for investigating sex crimes for more than a decade on NBC’s SVU), Lucy Liu (the former Ally McBeal spitfire who’s now on surprise TV hit Elementary) and documentarian Lisa F. Jackson. Expect lots of air-kisses.
