TRENTON – Gov. Chris Christie said the job numbers that were released today, coupled with the increase in income tax revenues shows that December was a good month in terms of economic news for New Jersey.
Christie said it shows there’s “continued evidence of economic recovery.”
That evidence, he said, is a far contrast to the “gloom and doom” portrayal by the Democrats, adding that their only motivation is to get the governor’s seat back.
He called Senate President Stephen Sweeney’s criticism of the job growth as “asinine.”
“Maybe he thought he was time transformed to the Corzine administration,” Christie said.”Maybe it’s just they don’t recognize success.”
