Happy Birthday to us! The New York Observer is a quarter of a century old, and publisher Jared Kushner and CEO Joseph Meyer have assembled a bonzo boldfaced lineup of NYC’s most fabulous hosts to fête the glorious occasion. Think NYO founder Arthur Carter, Marchesa designer/knockout Georgina Chapman, art kingpin Larry Gagosian, Carolina Herrera, Katie Holmes (Suri will be in bed—sorry, tabloids), Commissioner Ray Kelly, style icon Lauren Santo Domingo, Matt Lauer (and Katie Couric will be there too! Will there be a showdown?), beauty Blake Lively, Sean Parker, proto-mogul Ronald O. Perelman, Harvey Weinstein, and Donald Trump and his daughter (and Mr. Kushner’s wife) Ivanka, who has more Twitter followers than most small countries. Eight-Day Week will of course be tweeting the action all night as it unfolds at The Four Seasons Restaurant. There will be cocktails and light supper and the mayor, Michael Bloomberg. I mean, what more could you possibly ask for in a guest list?
