CultureHorde, a new members-only arts club, is launching with a private, intimate concert by the once-mysterious musician Sixto Rodríguez, the star of the documentary Searching for Sugar Man, which we wrote about last week when the film was screened at MoMA. CultureHorde founder Pamela Mirels has lots of culture-vulture events up her sleeves. She plans to close the Met Opera House for a members-only performance by the Met’s rising stars, and is arranging a rolling program of lectures, debates, art shows and culinary showcases.
