Frieze New York 2013 in Photographs

After a brutal early morning storm, the sun now shines over Randall’s Island. Visitors are streaming into Frieze New York’s hulking white tent for its second edition, which opens to the public tomorrow, May 10, and runs through Monday, May 13. More than 180 exhibitors have booths, and there are plenty of exciting moments—a new batch of John Wesley paintings, his first in years, at Fredericks and Fraiser; old black-and-white Zoe Leonard photos and pulsing Sergei Tcherepnin sound sculptures at Murray Guy; and a nice old von Heyl at Gisela Capitain. There’s delicious food too: Mission Chinese doesn’t even have a line yet!

In the slide show above, a look at the fair.
