Will People magazine get more tabloid-y? The Daily News‘s Confidenti@l says that editor Larry Hackett’s contract likely won’t be renewed after it expires at the end of the year. “People is now under a lot of pressure since parting with parent company Time Inc. Now the magazine must stand on its own two feet, and it can only do so by becoming more tabloid,” a source told the gossip page. (The Daily News)
