NEWARK – A source in Hudson County said Newark Mayor Cory Booker romped with his vote by mail totals in the Democratic Primary of the U.S. Senate Primary Election.
Unofficially, Booker received 72%, U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone (D-6) 18%, U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12) 7%, and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver (D-34) 4% in Hudson County.
Booker also outperformed his rivals in Essex and Bergen VBMs, sources said, and The Bergen Record’s Herb Jackson reported that Booker blew away his fellow contenders in Passaic County.
A Booker source said Pallone outperformed Booker and the rest of the field in Middlesex and Monmouth vote by mail totals.
