The folks over at the Carnegie Museum of Art just sent over the latest video trailer for the 2013 Carnegie International, which opens very, very soon (Oct. 5, to be exact), and it is a beauty.
Have you booked your ticket to Pittsburgh yet? Remember what Peter Schjeldahl said of the International back in 1988: “Any art critic who decides not to see it is declaring amateur status.”
But even if you’re not an art critic, it looks like it’s going to be a pretty interesting show, at least judging by the artist list and some of the activities that have surrounded it.
Anyway, here’s the video, which features cameos from the curators and some of the artists, including Ei Arakawa and Phyllida Barlow. The show runs through March 16, 2014. Details here.
And here’s the first trailer.
