When’s the last time you went to a museum? Whether you can’t remember or are an art junkie looking for your next fix, this daylong event promises culture galore, gratis, so use the opportunity to visit a museum you’ve always wanted to check out. Among the numerous local options are the Asia Society Museum, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Museum of American Finance, New York City Fire Museum, Rubin Museum of Art, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Jewish Museum, Skyscraper Museum and El Museo del Barrio, as well as, in East Hampton, Guild Hall, currently featuring the art of Chuck Close and sculpture by Joel Perlman.
