BREAKING: Roque found not guilty in hacking case

NEWARK – A jury this afternoon returned a verdict of not guilty in the hacking case of West New York Mayor Felix Roque.

The jury found the mayor’s son, Joseph, guilty of misdemeanor hacking.

The feds charged the mayor and his son with conspiring last year to break in and disable the website of his political enemies, led by Hudson County Freeholder Jose Munoz.

Munoz set up a website under the guise of Maria Pasquale.

The mayor’s defense team successfully argued that the mayor had communications with his son about finding out who the perpetrators were, without actually leading the effort to hack the opposition websites.
