APT Institute, a nonprofit founded by the Artist Pension Trust, has appointed David A. Ross as its new director. Mr. Ross has previously served as director for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. He also co-founded APT.
In a statement, Mr. Ross said, “APT Institute was founded in order to support and advance the careers of artists, and therefore we strive to achieve these goals through the variety of services we offer. As the new director of APT Institute, I am delighted to be a part of shaping the future of artists’ careers, as we set out to provide our artists with maximum international exposure.”
He starts his post immediately.
