On last night’s episode of Silicon Valley, the Pied Piper team fought through the insurmountable creative nightmare of having to pick a logo for their startup. As Erlich Bachman points out, the logos for the top tech and social media brands follow a pattern: lowercase letters, minimalist design and the use of blue and white, for example. Is it a coincidence that the majority of leaders in a world-wide, multibillion dollar industry have nearly interchangeable logos? Not likely.
