Senate backs Solomon for Supreme Court; Christie to swear him in at 3 p.m.

TRENTON – The state Senate today supported the nomination of Judge Lee Solomon of Haddonfield, a former GOP legislator, for the state Supreme Court.

Only state senators Mike Doherty (R-23) and Joe Pennacchio (R-26) opposed Solomon on the senate floor.

The Governor’s Office updated Gov. Chris Christie’s schedule this afternoon to include a 3 p.m. Solomon swearing-in ceremony.
