J.Crew’s Brooklyn debut got off to a flying start by all accounts. Williamsburg locals are flocking to the 6,000 sq.ft store at 234 Wythe Avenue which opened at 11 a.m today.

Over the weekend, expect the store, which showcases work by local artists including Naomi Reis and AMMA Studios, to offer surprises and special offers for Brooklynites passing by. Foodcarts will be on hand with tasty treats and we are assured by the nice folk of J.Crew that a generally warm and cheerful welcome is guaranteed. Special offerings include a limited edition Greg LaMarche for J.Crew tote bag, too.
