Instead of the obligatory trip to Victoria’s Secret for the same run-of-the-mill products every other guy is purchasing, make a break for The Completely Bare Valentine’s Day Market featuring lingerie, intimate apparel, and complementary brands such as Completely Bare, Angela Friedman, Erica M., Emily & Tony, and many more. This pop-up market will be super-casual, friendly and EASY TO SHOP for girls and even the most lost-when-it-comes-to-lingerie guys.
Designers will be working their own booths and will be eager to spread the word about their gorgeous goods and to help clients find great pieces.
For upscale British lingerie, try Harlow and Fox. “The market is the perfect opportunity for clients to try on pieces in person and really immerse themselves in our signature designs for the full-busted woman,” said designer, Leanna Williams. Creator Maggie Gillette of The Giving Bride is taking a philanthropic approach to her pieces. “A portion of profits from each sale will be donated to a women’s charity. Each piece really is a labor of love.”
Daisy and Elizabeth of their eponymous lingerie line aim for a bohemian aesthetic. “We’re confident our customers will find something fabulous among our beautiful blush and burgundy pieces ranging from soft lacy bralettes, to sexy body-contouring slips.” said designer Elizabeth NeSmith.
The market also offers lifestyle products, such as the classes and events promoted by CityBird. Co-founder Micah Clasper-Torch said, “We offer everything from chef’s tastings and museum memberships, to whiskey tours and comedy shows, all of which can be purchased as Valentines gifts – or just a fun excuse to get out and explore the city with a date.”
The pop-up shop opens on February 6th with champagne and shopping, while early risers the following two mornings can sip complimentary mimosas as they browse the items.
The market is located in the Open Gallery Space on 355 Bowery. Hours are Friday the 6th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday the 7th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday the 8th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
