Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi (R-39) is resting but confident of a full recovery after receiving a diagnosis over the weekend of a brain aneurysm.

The Bergen assemblywoman posted a note on Facebook earlier today with an update on her condition.

“I want to thank my friends and family for their thoughts, prayers and support over the past five days,” Schepisi wrote.

“For those of you who don’t know I went to the ER on Saturday because I wasn’t feeling right. After several tests I was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Although serious, the good news is that it was found early with no permanent effects. I have every confidence in my doctors and received great care at HUMC. I have some additional steps I will need to take in the near future but I have been assured the outcome will allow me to live a long and fruitful life. For those of you planning on coming tomorrow to my 2015 kickoff at the Stony Hill Inn, the Lieutenant Governor graciously will be hosting for me but I will be making an appearance and look forward to seeing you!”
