“As tonight’s speech demonstrated, President Obama is clearly focused on his legacy rather than finding solutions for problems still facing our families or protecting our nation’s security,” said LoBiondo in a statement. “Throughout his presidency, Barack Obama has preferred to go-it-alone on major policy decisions rather than genuinely engage of Members of Congress of both parties to work together on mutually-agreeable solutions. His continued use of controversial and Constitutionally-questionable executive orders further erodes the possibility of agreement.

“Like many Americans, I am ready to turn the page in the history books on the Obama Administration. Throughout 2016 I will continue my efforts on bring new economic opportunities to our region and ensure our military and intelligence personnel have the necessary resources to protect America’s interests at home and abroad. On issues ranging from growing our economy to create good paying jobs and ensuring opportunities for future generations to restoring America as a world leader, I look forward to working with the next President on key concerns for South Jersey families.”
