|VoteVets, an organization that supports veteran causes and veterans seeking elected office, will be present for a New Jersey delegation breakfast at the Democratic National Convention, honoring Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop. U.S. General Wesley Clark, who serves as Chairman of the Board of VoteVets, will offer an address to those attending the breakfast.
The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Renaissance Ballroom at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized alongside someone like General Clark,” said Fulop. “General Clark has made service to our country and supporting our nation’s veterans his life mission and understands the values which make our country so great. As a veteran myself, I can fully appreciate the work that VoteVets is doing, because they are giving a voice to veterans and raising awareness around the many issues our veterans face – such as access to jobs, housing, and the need for other social services,”
