Next Up in the Bridgegate Trial: Former Christie Spokesman Mike Drewniak

NEWARK – Defendant Bill Baroni has finished testifying and his attorneys have rested their case in the Bridgegate trial.

The former deputy director for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey underwent cross examination from the U.S. Attorney’s Office as prosecutors tried to pick apart testimony he gave during direct testimony.

Mike Drewniak, former communications chief for Governor Chris Christie, will be the first witness called by Michael Critchley, the defense attorney for defendant Bridget Kelly.
