This event represents both the physical realization of The New York Observer’s dedication to New York’s arts and cultural communities and Cushman & Wakefield’s long history of supporting Manhattan’s retail market. It is much like the new Observer -vibrant, humorous, witty and modern.

Named after The Observer’s much-acclaimed, newly expanded real estate section, this exciting six-day fashion and art exhibit features installations from notable designers, filmmakers, live performances and a curated selection of art from Creative Growth Art Center, the non-profit beneficiary of the venture.

Read by an audience of influential New Yorkers in the media, real estate, politics and financial industries, The New York Observer recently redesigned and expanded into a tabloid-size, fashion-forward newspaper with more editorial content, marking the most sweeping change in the paper’s 20-year history. The New York Observer is the first upscale tabloid in the United States. The newly created and expanded section, "Location," dedicated to the real estate beat, offers an insider’s look at what drives the industry. It is considered a mustread among the real estate, business and media communities.

Founded in New York in 1917, Cushman & Wakefield has long been a supporter of the Manhattan art and fashion community, with whom it has partnered with to establish some of the city’s most well-known fashion addresses, including Ann Taylor, Calypso, Anne Fontaine, Anne Klein, Calypso, Espirit, Evisu, Levis, The North Face and Prada.

The six-day exhibition presented by Cushman & Wakefield and The New York Observer highlights our mutual commitment to supporting Manhattan’s trendsetting designers and the vital retail community that they inhabit.
