Synopsis:

A smash hit at the Toronto and Tribeca Film Festivals, My Best Friend is a charming new comedy about François (Daniel Auteuil; The Valet, Cache), an arrogant antique dealer who is told by his closest acquaintances that they don't believe he has a single friend. In an effort to save face, he bets that he can produce his "best friend" in 10 days; at stake is his prized possession, an extravagantly expensive Greek vase - not to mention his pride! When his initial attempts at reconnecting with old 'friends' prove disasterous, François realizes he knows nothing about friendship and must start from scratch. He enlists the help of Bruno (Dany Boon), a truly likable cabbie, to teach him the secrets of lovability.

Hugely popular in France, this winning and heartfelt film was written and directed by legendary French filmmaker Patrice Leconte (Ridicule, The Man On The Train, Intimate Strangers).

Rated PG-13. In theaters July 13th
