Newsday‘s Westchester site is shutting down after a little more than a year. The closure of the digital-only publication, which was launched by Newsday‘s parent company Cablevision in April 2012, is effective immediately. The news, which was first reported by TheWrap, was announced to staffers during a meeting this afternoon.
Newsday’s Long Island coverage, as well as Cablevision-owned amNY and News12 will not be affected.
