Day three. Er, two? Day one? Whatever, Fashion Week is going full bore—and last night was something else.

First stop of the evening, a quick check in with Felipe Oliveira Baptista at Lacoste

Alright let's see here: We're in a shop filled with clothes, there's a swinging jazz band, an endless supply of macaroons, followed by infinite champagne. Better than a hero from the bodega, no?

Felipe, the Creative Director himself cruises in with a decently-sized posse, which we peel him away from for a quick chat.

"How did Felipe get here?" we asked. "You'll be surprised to hear it was actually through a headhunting agency! They found me, and placed me with a job. Simple as that!"

We want to be headhunted by this agency.

Moving right along: It's time to see what is going on at these runway shows...Libertine men's and women's at Milk Studios

This place is a freaking mob scene. Umpteen floors of fashion mayhem, Milk Studios seems to have adopted the controlled-chaos business model.

Where's our seat? Hello? Anyone? Ahhh yes, front row. Lovely.

Who's here? Do we know any of these people? How many fashion bloggers can one bench handle? Should we be Tumbling this?

Oh, god. It's that guy from the Princeton club. Or, wait, Columbia club? Ahhh yes, it's the Princeton-Columbia Club he reminds us.

Lights out, heads up, flask at the ready.

We start whistling Kraftwerk's "Model." Nobody gets it.

The whole production feels strangely...cool. Sort of zen-like, a little mesmerizing. We like this.

All right, show's over. Let's see what Kristian Laliberte has going on at the Refinery29 party over at Double Seven

Lots of booze.

A healthy mix of budding media moguls and the fashion frenzied seemed to be just the right touch. Ms. Laliberte always seems to have a knack for this.

Hello Elletra Wiederman!

Is it possible to not like Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos? No.

Ok. How many celebrities can The Kills bring to DeLeon Tequila's Concert Series at Andre Balasz's Boom Boom Room? Let's find out.

"Tequila on the rocks sir?" Sure. At this point, why not?

Everyone's favorite human being, Andrew Bevan grabs our arm: "Come meet Erin!"

Erin Wasson double-cheek kiss? Check.

Who's that at the table there? Ahh yes, of course it's an overall-ed Alexa Chung and Poppy DeLevigne letting it all hang out.

Pretending to be low key Lindsey Lohan soars in with a hat wearing crew and makes a b-line to a dark corner, where they proceed to brood for the evening.

Hold the phone, everyone just lost their shit. It's Alexander Skarsgard. Let's see if we can peel him away from the lunch line of twiggy models, shall we?

Here's what went down:

"So Alex, we'd like to ask you one question, would that be alright?"

"Of course my friend, anything!" he beams.

"How did Alexander Skarsgaard get here?"

"Oh man, I really like this question! It would be so easy for me to say "The elevator""

We agreed.

"But look, I see that this is one of those really open ended questions, and I like that! So many things brought me here, but first it began with my mother and my father. I owe them everything. Oh, also I really like The Kills!"

We continued our chat on The Kills briefly till the nicest vampire we've ever met announced he had to pee, so we took the talk to the famed urinals of The Standard.

"So tell me this my friend from The Observer, how did you get here?" as we both unzip our jeans.

For the next few minutes Mr. Skarsgaard did the interviewing, and concluded (completely mistakenly) that we too would be able to be as lucky with the ladies as he is. We informed him, that while we were flattered, the two of us were definitely a few standard deviations apart...

It crossed our minds as we zipped our flies and washed our hands that if there was ever a guy you'd want as a life coach, this is that guy.

Oh that's right, The Kills are playing.

It looks as though heartbreak leads to real estate for Alexa Chung. The British sweetheart and MTV golden girl has purchased an apartment in the East Village only weeks after breaking up with her musician boyfriend and moving out of their Williamsburg apartment.

Ms. Chung bought on East Third Street. According to a property listing by Corcoran agents Lindsay Barton Barrett and Trisha Lawton, the one-bedroom, one-bath has extensive closet space, perfect for Ms. Chung's extensive wardrobe.

A floorplan shows that Ms. Chung will be able to flop down in a comfortable 190-square-foot bedroom. The building is also chock-full of architectural details sure to delight her, including parquet floors and original moldings; and the art-deco edifice itself makes quite an impression.

Best of all, the home is located near Whole Foods, so Ms. Chung could buy all the overpriced health food her heart desires.

She paid $600,000 for the 719-square-foot apartment.

Jimmy the Geek

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon is by far the nerdiest late night show on network television. Our Twittering, video-blogging host has welcomed tech bloggers and Diggnation dudes as headlining guests; he's showcased the latest gadgets—from XBox 360's wireless controller to the Palm Pre—on his show and we (mostly) love him for it. With the help of Fallon's co-producer, G4-TV Attack of the Show! vet Gavin Purcell, Late Night is courting that hyper-connected millenial audience—and they're watching.

So what kind of dorky hijinks was Jimmy the geek up to last night on July 15th?

Alexa Chung, the British model who is hosting MTV's new daily show, was Jimmy's last guest last night. As TV hosts, they're a match made in geek heaven. If Jimmy's Late Night is NBC's nerdiest show, Ms. Chung's It's On With Alexa Chung is MTV's most socially networked equivalent, with Twitter commentary running like a ticker across the screen, popular online videos aired regularly and viewers submitting videos of their questions. Jimmy seemed excited because he "loves the show." A blog post on the Late Night site (which was nominated for an Emmy this morning) noted that she created a "condom tin" to convince people to carry around protection. Too bad she's taken, by Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner.

Anyway, Ms. Chung, looking much more elegant in a pouffy black frock than her regular Williamsburg-baked jeans and t-shirt look, gave Jimmy a high five and a fist bump before oogling Jimmy's ... gadgets. She pointed out that Jimmy had a screen under his desk, where producers were iChatting with him. "I'm talking to my friends in England, just talking about gats and stuff," Jimmy said. He also mentioned a new prop on his desk: an Apple laptop. He said he's not sure what to do with it yet. "We just get it ready to go, but if you ever feel the need to IM me ..."

Ms. Chung mentioned that she "Twittered" Jimmy while he was in Times Square, playing Wii with Tiger Woods. "I'm watching you with my own eyes," she wrote. "This is meant to be creepy." And Jimmy didn't respond! Aww, maybe he could make it up to her by friending her on Facebook, where she likes to "stalk" people, she said. "It's nice for looking up ex-boyfriends, etc. Like, 'Wow, you got fat. That's unfortunate,'" Ms. Chung said.

Then came a chat about trends—in socially networking, that is. First there was MySpace, then Friendster, then Facebook. "It's so embarrassing that there's trends on the Internet and social networking sites, as if it's like a pub that went out of fashion," Ms. Chung said. "Like, 'Ugh, people don't go there anymore.' No one is on MySpace anymore, it's such a loser thing to do." "Helloooo," Jimmy said, Valley-girl style.

So how did Jimmy do? Here's the score:

Geekiness factor (out of five): 4

Good-television factor (out of five): 3

Total: 7. Jimmy's geeky chemistry with Ms. Chung seemed to work, but talking about Twittering being "creepy" and "stalking" on Facebook is soooo six months ago.
