    Poll: Bloomberg at 52 Percent

    Michael Bloomberg inches over the 50 percent mark and now leads Bill Thompson, 52 to 36 percent, widening his lead now to 16 points, according to a new Marist poll. Last month, Bloomberg was hovering at 50 percent, with Thompson back at 39 percent. In July, Bloomberg was at 48 percent.

    Poll: Hillary Still Solid in New York and New Jersey

    A new poll from Quinnipiac says that despite evidence of gains for Barack Obama elsewhere, Hillary Clinton holds on to solid leads in her home and neighboring states.

    In New York, she leads Obama 53 to 39 percent, in New Jersey, she leads 48 to 43.

    Marist Poll Agrees With Siena Poll: Giuliani Trails McCain in New York State

    John McCain is polling higher than Rudy Giuliani among New York Republicans, 34-23, according to a new Marist poll that seems to corroborate this morning’s Siena poll.
