Mitt Romney keeps up to date on current topical events on E!

Republican candidate and Mormon Mitt Romney proved to audiences last night that he is still indeed, "with it" (as the kids' say), after dissing President Barack Obama by comparing his campaign promises to the marriage vows of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

"I've been looking at some video clips on YouTube of President Obama -- then candidate Obama -- going through Iowa making promises," said Romney, "The gap between his promises and his performance is the largest I've seen, well, since the Kardashian wedding and the promise of 'til death do we part."

Topical! Relevant! And who knew that Mitt Romney knew how to work YouTube? Of course the larger issue is that if Obama's broken promises are analogous to Kim Kardashian, does that make Americans Kris Humphries? Or are we still Americans, but the Americans who were devastated by the news of the Kardashian divorce? Either way, it's somewhat insulting.
