Vivienne Tam was clear about one thing at the launch of her jewelry collaboration with TSL at Hakkasan New York on Wednesday, which brought out the likes of model Jessica Hart and Julie Macklowe: individuality is key. This goes beyond style to the Five Elements of Chinese cosmology, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The belief is that each person relates to a different element; for example Ms. Tam described herself as “Water, needing a bit of Fire.” Naturally, she wore red.

This explained the omnipresence of shapes incorporated into her designs at the Vivienne Tam show earlier in the evening. The Observer learned that Earth, for example, is represented by a square. Okay, we’ve got it, so where does the jewelry come in?

“It’s about incorporating the colors of the jewelry with the clothes … the colors must work together in harmony … figuring out which dress is with which element,” Ms. Tam explained.

She was joined by Annie Yau, CEO of TSL, which, The Observer was informed, is the “Tiffany’s of China,” and one of the largest jewelers in the country.

Ms. Tam described her as the “perfect partner.”

Ms. Yau explained that her job involved “taking Vivienne’s concept and trying to make it work” as the pair recalled the chaos of the past few months, the short time in which they had to pull the collaboration off.

The result is a very personal collection, using wood, jade, gold, garnet and agate “to embolden the spirit and enhance energy.” (And it also looks rather damn good!)

Rebecca Taylor was not at Lincoln Center. Had we not been slammed with events, emails, editorial projects, tweets and social babysitting of our entourage, we would have easily noted this. Rebecca Taylor was scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday at Highline Studios Downtown. Yet we had eagerly arrived at the Mercedes-Benz complex, bewildered and irritated. American Express to the rescue. The Observer made the smart move to get in touch with the skybox mavens for a little good old fashion week S.O.S. And rescued we were!

Within ten minutes, The Observer was ushered to the dark and stylish skybox, Champagne in hand and fruit on our plate. Amen. Keen on a break from the masses, we schmoozed with publicists, AmEx VIPs and other media gurus. Before long, we watched from our elite little post high above, as Mara Hoffman paraded her vibrant, billowy frocks and caftans down the runway.

More than content to combine work and play, we handed off our Hervé Léger seats to a cohort and hunkered down for the show, refreshed and content.

After the show, one of the producers of the lavish hideaway announced that Lubov Azria herself would address the intimate coterie for a brief discussion.

“I am his midlife crisis,” joked Ms. Azria about her fashion mogul husband.

When asked about if she had experienced any drama on the day of the show, she reported that look No. 4, Maria, had a panic attack.

“She couldn’t breathe,” Ms. Azria revealed and went on to explain that the models are teens. “That’s why they have those bodies!”

Model drama aside, Ms. Azria was composed and engaging throughout the chat.

Things got even better, when Max and Lubov Azria invited The Observer to their Fashion Week after-party later that evening, which was presented by star-power media magnets Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. The Top of the Standard was brimming with beauty—Daisy Fuentes, models Jessica White and Jessica Hart, and Dania Ramirez sightings come to mind—but the best attraction was delivered by DJ Harley Viera-Newton and DJ Kiss who had us sloshing and swaying deep into the night. Before our exit, we just couldn’t resist one more exchange with Ms. Azria and dove in for a kiss-kiss, which she gracefully welcomed.

The coverage of this weekend's brouhaha at the Double Seven club, when former Hawaiian Tropic Zone owner Adam Hock brawled with a team of jet-setting socialites (including Prince Pierre Casiraghi, Stavros Niarchos, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, and Diego Marroquin), left out one pretty important detail: how did the model girlfriends of the two groups react?

Jessica Hart, the Victoria Secret/Sports Illustrated supermodel who is currently dating shipping baron and Paris Hilton's ex Mr. Niarchos, apparently lunged at Natasha Poly, the supermodel wife of Mr. Hock's friend and cohort for the evening, Peter Bakker, after the boys were left and bloodied and bruised and Mr. Hock was arrested.

According to a source at the New York Post, Ms. Hart screamed at Ms. Polly "Your husband’s a loser! F--k you!"

Since then, Ms. Hart has taken to Twitter to denounce Mr. Hock and his posse:

"Ha! It’s going to be so pleasurable when the truth does come out and he’s exposed as the freaky liar he is," she wrote, according to The New York Daily News, regarding Mr. Hock's exclusive interview given to the Post yesterday.

"Although, I have to say, I am getting a little pleasure watching him run to the press, squirming and lying in desperation."

Since then, Ms. Hart has apparently deleted her tweets, perhaps in reaction to Mr. Hart's lawyer, who responded to the virtual attacks by saying:

"I expect her to come in and tell the truth and then, if she’s going to resort to name calling like calling my client a liar, she will open herself up to defamation and libel."

Ms. Polly and her husband, we assume, are too busy getting ready to move into their Chelsea dream apartment to engage in a Twitter flame war.
