Ex-Manhattan Madam Kristin Davis was arraigned today in Manhattan federal court on charges she sold hundreds of prescription pills illegally, hours after her “stunned” campaign consultant urged her to drop out of the comptroller’s race.
Ms. Davis, who claims to have arranged prostitutes for ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer and is now running against him for city-wide office, was arrested yesterday after allegedly selling hundreds of prescription pills, including amphetamine, alprazolam and carisoprodol, to a co-operating FBI witness, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
