It's already time for Fashion Week again? How did that happen? And not just Fashion Week, but the one that includes New York's annual Fashion's Night Out event. This evening marks the third-most important night of the year for Anna Wintour (besides the Met gala and whenever the president is in town), and we're looking forward to all the celebrity sightings that are sure to occur. Here are our five best guesses of A-list names to appear tonight.

1. Ryan Lochte: The Olympic swimmer was already spotted last night at the Joseph Abboud menswear show at the New York Public Library ... marking the first and last time you will ever see "Ryan Lochte" and "public library" in the same sentence. We just hope he'll be able to pick up some styling tips and avoid future disasters like this one. (We should have known Mr. Lochte would show up at any event that promised a sighting of Kanye West.)

2. Katie Holmes: The recent hermit is making her first appearances at New York's Fashion Week. Her Holmes + Yang fashion collaboration with stylist Jeanne Yang is getting its first Lincoln Center runway show. In the meantime, she's already shown up at the Style Awards, held last night in the same location, presenting the "Designer of the Year" award to Caroline Herrera, so there's a good chance she'll be sitting front-row at her show. Not to mention that she's just been announced as the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Looks like life's good after Tom.

3. Sarah Jessica Parker: Now that she's such good friends with Anna Wintour and Oscar de la Renta, how could the star prepare for an upcoming Glee cameo anywhere else?

4. Kim Kardashian: She'll be taking a break from talking about the economy on CNBC to tackle fashion at Lord & Taylor tonight. (She'll be there selling her new perfume, True Reflection.)

5. Pippa Middleton: O.K., it's a long shot, but there's a possibility that Kate's sister will stick around post-birthday/U.S. Open and see all the beautiful people at Fashion Week. Especially since she's having so much fun juggling the men here.

Historically, Memorial Day is a somber holiday—we all take off of work to commemorate fallen soldiers. But since we already celebrate our men in uniform on Veteran’s Day, the long weekend at the end of May is also an excuse for a bacchanal to celebrate the upcoming summer. Pools open, grills are dusted off and white tennies are spit shined for the courts.

And since this is the weekend of rebirth, what better chance for us to sit down and think about what really want out of this summer? Pippa Middleton moving to New York (or better yet, Brooklyn!); an Arsenio Hall comeback tour post-Celebrity Apprentice; the cancellation of Jersey Shore; the rise of Facebook stock; and the fall of John Travolta.

While the elections may be time for cautious optimism and a rally for action, we’re much more interested in keeping track of the issues addressed on James Franco’s Huffington Post blog. Between tackling the major interests of the day—like ghost tours, what it’s like hanging out with Nicolas Cage, commencement speeches written by friends and that time he met President Barack Obama—the auteur and man of (too) many words has been using his platform to take potshots at The New York Observer.

Not that we’re knocking his new career. If anything, Mr. Franco is an inspiration to graduates: work hard, study and collect Ivy League degrees like they are Pokemon cards, then one day Arianna Huffington may let you write for free on her website.

That’s the kind of sunny future we wish for all of you this Memorial Day.

Pippa Middleton, the eminently eligible bachelorette sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, will write a book about "how to entertain." The book was acquired in Britain by Penguin in a deal said to be worth more than $700,000.

According to The Bookseller, "The book, which is yet to be titled, will cover entertaining as themed across the seasons, and will be informed by old-fashioned British values. It is likely to be published as a lavish, high-production hardback, in the style of Nigella Lawson, in autumn 2012."

The Daily Mail reports that the book will help Ms. Middleton recover from a broken heart.
