<p><a href="http://dinersjournal.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/06/03/sam-siftons-50-current-favorite-new-york-restaurants/?src=twr">Mr. Sifton's list </a>includes Ouest, a <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/05/business/media/05remnick.html?pagewanted=all">favorite of David Remnick</a>, and The Waverly Inn.</p>
<p>The app also features other things that young, rich New Yorkers (and tourists) love, such as a list of bars from dining editor Pete Wells and a calendar of events.</p>
<p>The paper's free Editor's Choice iPad app carried an ad campaign for Chase worth $ million, <a href="http://paidcontent.org/article/419-nyt-lifestyle-guide-hits-iphone-chanel-launches-campaign-for-ipad/">according to PaidContent</a>. The Scoop, which draws largely from existing <em>Times</em> content, could be fodder for similar sponsorship deals.</p>
