Sometimes we suspect that Howard Wolfson actually invented Steve Minarik. The Republican Party chairman, with his outsized rhetoric and inattention to detail, is the best thing that’s happened to the State Democratic Party in a while. Here at the Politicker, we keep resisting the temptation to give our Minarik Award to Minarik himself.
In case you missed it, he tried to Willie Horton-ize Clinton’s opposition to laws that disenfranchise felons. Here’s how he put it in a letter to potential donors that found its way to AP:
“Hillary’s vision of a better America is one where your vote is canceled out by a murderer or a rapist.”
We’d refer you back to that Pete King comment about the anti-Hillary types starting to sound like Michael Moore.
