We’d known for a while that Mandy Grunwald had replaced them on the media/guru front; now we hear that Mark Guma, a Hevesi hand, will be doing Miller’s mail.

A Parkside source says there are no hard feelings — not working on the Mayor’s race is “best for the Speaker, and best for us as a firm.” They left Miller’s campaign payroll a while ago, in part to avoid the appearance of conflict with their lobbying business.

Indeed, Miller seems to be bucking the general trend toward a merger of lobbying and political consulting.
