I’d be interested in others’ take on this, but one well-informed reader thinks the Council incumbents most vulnerable to primary opponents are: Allan Jennings, Kendall Stewart, Helen Sears, and James Sanders, in that order; and that the most vulnerable in November is Vinnie Gentile.

(There are also several quite dull races. In a sure sign of Republican vitality, Democrats Peter Vallone, Jr. and Leroy Comrie of Queens; and Simcha Felder of Brooklyn have filed to run on both GOP and Democratic lines.)
